Heat Therapy Bags

This evening after the boys went to bed I made two heat therapy bags. I made the bags out of muslin and filled them with flaxseed. Flaxseed is not stinky like many other items that are commonly used to make therapy bags. In 30 minutes I made two bags and started on the first washable cover. Right now I am testing out the first bag on my neck and it is great! About a minute in the microwave and the bag acts like heating pad lasting 1-2 hours. These first two bags are for my sister, Sharon, and for my Mom, but I already have a request from Dave and I want one too. I will post photos sometime later.

Grandma and Grandpa Zimmer visit Colorado

My Father had to come to Denver to look at a generator for a project. My Mom came with him and they made a weekend of it. On Dave's day off we went to the Denver Aquarium. Jacob held his Grandpa's hand almost the entire time.

Lots of new stuff

I just discovered the beauty of Picasa. I can make collages and publish them to my blog from the program on my computer. It is so easy! The new stuff is not in chronological order but oh well.

Jacob's Camera

This is one of the first photos Jacob took after he got his camera for his birthday. Here we see his father trying to dig the truck and trailer out of the sand at Lake Powell.

Jacob and his Camera

Jacob absolutely loves that he can make his subject look extra silly with his camera. As Jacob would say, "Silly Miyah."
